Looking to find an obituary of a relative who died in Pope County, MN. A Viggo Thomsen, born in Copenhagen, Denmark and lived in Glenwood. He emigrated after his brother Karl Thomsen who lived in Austin, MN. If you can find out this for me and let me know the cost of your service.

We do have his obituary and other news clippings about him. E-mail research costs $10. I’ll send the obituary in the mail tomorrow. Please let me know if you are interested in more information.
We actually have individual files various on Ziminskes from Glenwood Township.
We also have the actual bound newspapers here at the museum. Any area newspaper that we don’t have in hard copy, we have on microfilm.
Birth and death records are kept at the Courthouse in the Recorders Office.
We do have cemetery records from most of the county cemeteries. Some of the records are official, others were compiled by volunteers.
We hope you’ll come in and do some research here with us. Or – if you have specific questions, we can do your research over the phone or internet. pcmuseum@wisperwireless.com

I am researching the name of Ziminske from Glenwood Township, Pope County.
Do you have film of the old newspapers from abt 1890 forward?
Also do you have copies of the old birth and death records from Pope County? Or can I find them at the courthouse?
Do you have an index of the Pope County Cemeteries?
I am wondering what records you have available. Thanks.
