School Tour Time

Today was our first school tour of the spring. We welcomed the 2nd graders from Voyager Elementary. They were a very fun group and asked great questions.

They split the tour between the Pope County Museum and the State Fish Hatchery. So, after we got all the kids safely back on the bus, I went out to the Fish Hatchery with our volunteer and interns. It is always fun to see the tiny walleye fry hatching.

If you are in the Glenwood area, I highly recommend a trip out to the fish hatchery this week to see the hatching – and when you go, don’t forget some bread to feed the trout in the pond out front of the hatchery.
