Fine Art Fundraiser at Pope County Museum

Original paintings, prints and a craft item or two are up for bids. The Pope County Historical Society is holding a silent auction of “gently used art.” Paintings, prints, photographs and sculptures have been contributed by collectors and artists to benefit the museum. Bidding begins on Tuesday, May 8, at noon with free admission all week. Bid up to 3:00 pm at our open house on Saturday, May 12, 10-4:00.

Artwork available includes original paintings by Mayme Kalina, Nancy Olson, Raleigh Kinney, and Becky Rae; a Serigraph print by David Koos; and a sculpture by David Lent. Also available are birdhouses by Cedric Zemke, and prints by Terry Redlin, Ian Ramsay, Colleen Sgroi, Ava Freeman, Robert Atkinson Fox and many others. There is something for everyone.
