On the road

Our latest grant application to the Minnesota Historical Society was reviewed yesterday at the James J. Hill House in St. Paul.  I gave a short presentation to the review panel to help them approve full funding of our project.  One of the panel suggested the Heard Museum in Phoenix as a possible resource / partner for our Native American collection.  I told them that one of our members, volunteer and past president, Joyce Wahlquist, also volunteers at the Heard Museum in the winter months.  Joyce tells us she still likes PCHS better.  We look forward to seeing Joyce again when the snow is gone.  (Eight more inches here this week, Joyce!  Bring some sunshine with you when you come back up north.)
