May is National Museum Month. It is a great time to visit your local historical museum. This week, the Pope County Museum will be offering free admission in conjunction with their fine art sale. Stop in and bid on paintings, prints, photographs, crafts and sculptures at the museum’s silent auction. There are more than 100 items available for bidding with something for everyone. All proceeds directly benefit the Museum. The silent auction begins Tuesday at noon and ends at 3:00 on Saturday afternoon. Coffee and treats will be available on Saturday.
